ECLSb 2012 Contest Weekend Dates confirmed

Eastern Canada LeatherSIR/Leatherboy 2012 Contest Weekend Dates & contest venue confirmed for ECLSb weekend

The Eastern Canada LeatherSIR/Leatherboy 2012 contest weekend will run Friday, February 17 through Monday, February 20 (a civic long weekend in Ontario). The Presenting Sponsor of ECLSb 2012 is Steamworks, the official bathhouse of ECLSb.

The complete roster of events and the judging panel for the contest weekend will be announced at later dates.

The weekend’s main event will be the Eastern Canada LeatherSIR/Leatherboy 2012 contest, which will take place Saturday, February 18 at Goodhandy’s (120 Church St, at Richmond). Please note, the contest will be held at a new earlier time! Doors will open at 12:30pm; the contest will start at 1:30pm sharp! Admission will be $10, with proceeds to ECLSb travel fund.

Winners of Eastern Canada LeatherSIR/Leatherboy will advance to compete at the International LeatherSIR/Leatherboy contest weekend, which will take place Thursday, July 26 through Sunday, July 29, 2012 in San Francisco, coinciding with the Dore Alley leather street fair on Sunday, July 29.

Contestant registration for ECLSb 2012 will begin October 1, 2011. Registration forms will be available at www.LeatherSIRCanada.com. The Eastern Canada contest is open to leathermen and leatherboys from Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada.

LeatherSIR/Leatherboy are “players titles,” titles representing the erotic and sexual side of gay leathermen. The primary goal of ECLSb is networking and outreach, to help educate the community about leathermen, our erotic expression, traditions and history, and, of course, BDSM and hot leather sex!

Steamworks is the Presenting Sponsor of ECLSb 2012 and the official bathhouse of ECLSb. Goodhandy’s and Leather Masters are Community Partners in ECLSb weekend.
