Eastern Canada LeatherSIR/Leatherboy 2013 Contest Weekend 2013: 4 days, 7 events |
Leather/BDSM play parties kick-off and wrap-up players’ contest weekend (Toronto, Ontario, CA) — The Eastern Canada LeatherSIR / Leatherboy contest weekend will take place in March in Toronto on the Easter long weekend. With Good Friday a holiday, ECLSb weekend will start the evening of Thursday, March 28 and conclude on Sunday, March 31. Since ECLSb are sexual titles, the contest weekend will start and end with — hot leather sex parties! A new event will be held the afternoon of the Friday holiday, March 29. The “Changing Of The Guard” reception is a new format for the traditional contest weekend ‘Meet and Greet.’ In addition to meeting and mingling with contestants, judges, out of town guests and local leather folk, a highlight of Changing Of The Guard will be a keynote speech by Sir Marc Paquet-Decker, of Toronto. Sir Marc is head of a leather family, starting with his two collared boys, connor and farrell. He is also founder and head of “The Leather Vajra Family,” his much larger leather family, which is presently comprised of more than 100 members, found coast-to-coast across North America. Sir Marc has judged leather competitions in Ontario, been a featured presenter at Kink Kamp in Alberta, and, since 2009, has served as a member of the “So You Want to Be Kinky???” education group. Changing Of The Guard will take place from 1pm-5pm, at Club 120 (formerly Goodhandy’s, 120 Church Street at Richmond). Light refreshments will be served, with a cash bar. Admission is $5, with net proceeds to ECLSb 2013 travel fund. On Friday night (Mar 29), the ECLSb crowd heads to a “Black Eagle Bar Night” where the focus will purely be on cruising and socializing at our local leather bar, Black Eagle Toronto. The ECLSb contestants and crew will be hanging out at ‘the dirty bird’ from about 10pm until late. If weather cooperates maybe we’ll have an early spring and cigars on the patio! If not, we can console ourselves in their infamous back room! The weekend’s main event will be the “Eastern Canada LeatherSIR/Leatherboy 2013 Contests”, which will take place Saturday, March 30 at Club 120 (120 Church St, at Richmond). Doors open at 12:30pm; the contest will start at 1:30pm sharp! Admission will be $10, with net proceeds to ECLSb 2013 travel fund. On Saturday night (Mar 30), it’s “Spearhead’s Fantasy Ball & Official ECLSb Victory Party” featuring DJ Chris Steinbach. Come out to celebrate the new Eastern Canada LeatherSIR and Leatherboy! The leather dance party will run 9pm-3am on the second floor of Flash (461 Church St). Tickets are $20 advance, $25 door. Advance tickets at Priape, Black Eagle and Northbound. This event produced by Spearhead Toronto; info http://www.SpearheadToronto.com. Saturday night survivors will be up in time for the butchest brunch in town! Join the new ECLSb titleholders at a special “ECLSb Victory Brunch” on Sunday, March 31, at the Churchmouse & Firkin (475 Church St). The celebratory Victory Brunch will be be held upstairs from 11am-2pm. Since 2009, the Churchmouse & Firkin has been an important Community Partner with ECLSb. The 2013 contest weekend will mark the 5th ECLSb Victory Brunch held at the pub. The popular dungeon party “Rough House” will wrap up ECLSb weekend. Rough House will take place on Sunday afternoon (Mar 31) from 1pm-5pm, at Club 120 (120 Church St, at Richmond). The atmosphere is friendly, laid back, frisky, sexy, and always social. Each Rough House attracts a great mix of seasoned players and people brand new to the scene; the variety of BDSM play depends on who attends. Check out www.RoughHouse.ca for more info. Steamworks (www.steamworksonline.com) is the Presenting Sponsor of ECLSb 2013 and the official bathhouse of ECLSb. Our Major Sponsor is Priape (www.priape.com).
