Afternoon event is official ‘Meet & Greet’ reception for CCLSb & CCCB weekend (Toronto, Ontario, CA) — The producers of the Central Canada LeatherSIR / Leatherboy (CCLSb) and Central Canada Community Bootblack (CCCB) contest weekend today announced details of two special presentations to be featured at Changing Of The Guard, an afternoon reception on Friday, April 18. Changing Of The Guard is the official ‘Meet & Greet’ for the CCLSb & CCCB 2014 contest weekend. In addition to meeting and mingling with contestants, judges, out of town guests and local leather folk, Changing Of The Guard will feature special presentations by Nancy Irwin, of Toronto, and Master Mike Zuhl, of Pittsburgh. The event is also the official full-day judging segment for the inaugural CCCB contest. Contestants competing in CCCB will be will be busy shining boots for the public under the watchful eyes of a panel of judges. Changing Of The Guard will be held on the afternoon of Friday, April 18 (the Good Friday statutory holiday), from 1pm-5pm, at Club120 (120 Church St, at Richmond; second floor) in Toronto. The event will feature light snacks, cash bar, special surprises and door prizes! Admission is $10 at the door; net proceeds to travel fund. CCLSb & CCCB 2014 weekend will feature seven events between Thursday, April 17 and Sunday, April 20 (the Easter long weekend).
