Event news: Tough Customer Cigar Party; Fantasy Ball & Victory Party; Victory Brunch

Central Canada LeatherSIR, Leatherboy and Community Bootblack weekend runs Apr 17–20

(Toronto, Ontario, CA) — Producers of the Central Canada LeatherSIR / Leatherboy (CCLSb) and Central Canada Community Bootblack (CCCB) contest weekend today announced details of three events on the contest weekend roster: the Tough Customer Cigar Party on Friday night, Fantasy Ball & Central Canada Victory Party on Saturday night, and the Victory Brunch on Sunday morning.

The Tough Customer Cigar Party will take place Friday, April 18 starting at 10pm, on the patio at Black Eagle Toronto (457 Church St). Drop by for a brandy and a stogie. Hot men, sexy boys, lots of smoke, cigar play and friskiness. Cigars will be available for purchase. Downstairs, there will be a plaster mummification demo by Master Tony, International LeatherSIR 2009.

On Saturday, April 19, it’s Spearhead’s Fantasy Ball & Central Canada Victory Party featuring DJ Cory Activate playing retro music. Come celebrate with the new Central Canada LeatherSIR, Leatherboy and Community Bootblack! The leather dance party will run 9pm-3am at Erotico (second floor of Flash; 461 Church St). Tickets are $10 advance, $15 door. Advance tickets available at Flash, Northbound Leather and Out On The Street. This event is produced by our Community Partner Spearhead Toronto.

Saturday night survivors will be up in time for the butchest brunch in town! Join the new Central Canada titleholders at a special Victory Brunch on Sunday, April 20, 11am-2pm, upstairs at the Churchmouse (475 Church St). Since 2009, the Churchmouse has been an important Community Partner supporting LeatherSIR / Leatherboy. The 2014 contest weekend will mark our 6th Victory Brunch held at the pub.

CCLSb & CCCB 2014 weekend will feature seven events between Thursday, April 17 and Sunday, April 20 (the Easter long weekend). Steamworks Baths Toronto (www.SteamworksBaths.com) is the Presenting Sponsor and Official Bathhouse of CCLSb/CCCB 2014.

Community Partners confirmed to date include Club120 (www.Club120.ca), Spearhead Toronto (www.SpearheadToronto.com), Churchmouse (www.FirkinPubs.com), Black Eagle Toronto (www.BlackEagleToronto.com) and CLAW (www.clawinfo.org).

In January, the former Eastern Canada ILSb region that has existed since 2003 was reorganized to create three new regions — Central Canada, Quebec and Atlantic Canada. Central Canada LeatherSIR / Leatherboy is produced by Brandon Matheson (Eastern Canada LeatherSIR 2004) and Dan Falkenham (Eastern Canada Leatherboy 2004), who have produced the Eastern Canada contest since 2005.
