LeatherSIR and Leatherboy contestant requirements
Each contestant in the Central Canada LeatherSIR and Leatherboy (CCLSb) contests must:
- be at least twenty-one (21) years old;
- be legally male and identify as a gay leatherman (LeatherSIR contestants) or gay leatherboy (Leatherboy contestants) in the leather community;
- be of same-sex orientation;
- have a demonstrated interest in leather, BDSM or fetishes, as determined by the judging panel;
- be a resident of Ontario;
- not hold a current leather title earned in a non-ILSb-ICBB leather title contest;
- agree to appear onstage wearing appropriate leather and fetish gear and perform an onstage leather sexual fantasy of an explicit nature (while conforming with local regulations, if any, pertaining to nudity and obscenity);
- own all clothing worn onstage during the contest, except for clothing and props used in the fantasy portion;
- agree to represent his title, if he wins, throughout his title year and refrain from competing in any other leather, rubber, fetish or bootblack title contest until the conclusion of his title year;
- agree to return to the CCLSb-CCCB regional and/or ILSb-ICBB events next year, if he wins, to step aside from his title;
- agree to permit on-stage photographs to be taken of him for the use on the Central Canada LeatherSIR / Leatherboy / Community Bootblack and International LeatherSIR / Leatherboy Community Bootblack web sites, and all other forms of media coverage;
- read and agree to the terms of the statement of “What is Expected of the Winners”;
- when competing at ILSb, donate one (1) select leather auction item to be used in the silent auction to raise funds for ILSb-ICBB, Inc.;
- have a valid passport in time for the international competition for travel to the US. Regional winners of CCLSb-CCCB without a valid passport agree to complete and submit their passport application within two (2) weeks of winning CCLSb-CCCB. Furthermore, winners of CCLSb-CCCB agree that if, for any reason, they do not hold a valid passport in time to travel to the United States to compete at ILSb-ICBB, they will be personally liable to reimburse the regional producers of CCLSb-CCCB for all related travel expenses (including airfare and hotel) that were made in their name in anticipation of them competing at ILSb;
- not have any outstanding warrants of felony conviction at the time of the international competition; and,
- agree to arrive at the contest host hotel no later than 11:00am on Wednesday, August 27, 2012 and appear in person for all meetings that day and all scheduled events during the ILSb-ICBB Weekend.
Community Bootblack contestant requirements
Each contestant in the Central Canada Community Bootblack (CCCB) contest must:
- be at least twenty-one (21) years old;
- have a demonstrated interest in leather, BDSM or fetishes, as determined by the judging panel;
- be a resident of Ontario;
- not hold a current leather title earned in a non-ILSb-ICBB leather title contest;
- own all clothing worn onstage during the contest, except for clothing and props used in the fantasy portion;
- agree to represent his title, if she/he wins, throughout his title year and refrain from competing in any other leather, fetish, fantasy, rubber, or bootblack title contest until the conclusion of the title year;
- agree to return to the CCLSb-CCCB regional and/or ILSb-ICBB events next year, if he/she wins, to step aside from their title;
- agree to permit on-stage photographs to be taken of him/her for the use on the Central Canada LeatherSIR / Leatherboy / Community Bootblack and International LeatherSIR / Leatherboy / Community Bootblack web sites, and all other forms of media coverage;
- read and agree to the terms of the statement of “What is Expected of the Winners”;
- when competing at ICBB, donate one (1) select leather auction item to be used in the silent auction to raise funds for ILSb-ICBB, Inc.;
- Be in possession of their own materials and bootblacking kit
- have a valid passport in time for the international competition for travel to the US.
