Boy Dom, Eastern Canada Leatherboy 2013

Boy Dom (contact)
Eastern Canada Leatherboy 2013

I made my debut into the leather community shortly after my arrival to Montreal in the fall of 2009 when I found myself working as a barman in Montreal’s Black Eagle bar. During my three years with the Black Eagle, I participated in the Mister Leather/Mister Rubber competitions, coming out as runner-up three years in a row between both categories. (rubber 2010 & 2011, leather 2012). I also participated in many community building events held at the Eagle such as fundraisers for local charities providing aid to people living with HIV/AIDS, leather banquets, BBQ’s and more, all of which contributed to me finding my sense of belonging within the leather community.

In October 2012, I was offered a position as manager of a new fetish bar opening in the city, Katakombes, which I took and ran for a year and a half until March 2013. During this time I oversaw and participated in many successful leather and fetish parties (PIG, BlacKKnighT, KATA+) and even organized a Halloween HIV/AIDS fundraiser party where I raised $1,750 for the Aids Community Care Montreal organisation.

Eager to learn and dedicated to my lifestyle, my developing identity as a boy grew deeper than anything I’d ever felt before. Having found where I belonged, I set out to discover myself even more by starting a blog, ABEARDEDBOY, where I decided I would document my sexual self-discovery, on a daily front. Everyday I uploaded photos of my daily life and encounters, documenting my growth and experiences, sexual and non-sexual (anything from sucking cocks under public washroom stall walls or taking my own fist after heavy dildo sessions to groggy mornings in bed and random walks in parks with my dog), and sharing it with the world for all to see with hopes to inspire others to give it, or any of the things I tried, a try. Since the beginning of the blog in January 2012, it has gathered over 17 000 followers and continues to function (though no longer on a daily basis) and inspire people to explore their own sexuality, gathering more and more followers each day.

Seeking to broaden my experience and to learn even more, I decided to move to Toronto in March 2013, where I now have decided to run for Toronto’s 2013 Leatherboy contest.

I am 25 years of age, and see nothing but opportunity with the future. I have a head on my shoulders, and I’m not afraid to go for what I want. I hope to one day be a great role model within the leather community and look forward to the experiences that have yet to come.
